Home Portraits by Kevin Eagle

   Kevin was a talented artist by high school, but gave it up for a carrer as an electrician. In 1999, he found an old photo of his grandmother's home place. The Bennett- Bivens house (below) was built around 1870 and still stands today, in Marshville, NC. It is owned by Kevin's great uncle, Graham Griffin. After Kevin showed this drawing to a customer of the electrician he worked for, he was asked to draw their house for a profit of $50. Kevin showed his work to more customers and friends and sold a few more drawings over the years before he started EagleArtGallery.com in 2006 and has since drawn about 3 a year.

               Home Portrait Prices

All home portraits are original 11x14 drawings in pen and ink. Prices vary depending on the size and difficulty of the drawing/house. All we need are photos of the house, one in the view that you want the drawing, and close-up photos of windows, shutters, light fixtures. etc. Home portrait prices vary between $150-$400.
