Kevin was born in 1976 to Phil and Janie Eagle. Phil Eagle worked for Cannon Mills in the package design department. Kevin didn't show much interest in art until middle school. He was introduced to Pen and Ink in high school. He liked it so much, that was the only media he excelled with. After high school, Kevin worked for an electrical contractor. He started drawing customer's homes on the side. At the same time he started drawing NameTrees. Over the years Kevin has drawn many houses and NameTrees. In 2005, as Cannon Mills was being demolished, Kevin decided to draw the main office of Cannon Mills and the old train station. These drawings were printed and this started a series of Kannapolis Prints. Since then, Kevin has drawn many buildings in Kannapolis and has 5 limited edition prints. In 2007, The Pilot Club of Kannapois approached Kevin with a fundraiser idea. An annual ornament has been produced each year, showing one of Kevin's drawings on each ornament. Kevin is currently unemployed and is planning to go back to school for graphic design.  |
